Boku No Koe

Boku No Koe
Boku No Koe - Manga
By - Nitta Youka
Explicit
!!!!
Concluded Series? (Both sites say scans aren't done... but what I stopped on would make a /fair/ ending... please don't ruin it if it continues! I'll be angry D= But if there is more Hosaka-Yumi development please don't stop!)

Boku No Koe is about a bunch of voice actors who fall in love and shit. It's really cute. Oh man... Now I gotta go back and find names... hold on theres a page with all of them... Okay. Found it. Jyochi Wataru is struggling to become a seiyuu (Voice actor) and he meets Renji Kazama, Hediyumi Kurokawa (♥), Jyo-ichiro Hosaka (Now I see why no one calls him his first name... It's almost like the number eleven... Ju-ichi? xD), and Touma Kokubu (He's not really important) and they devolop relationships and stuff. Okay... that's kinda sad when I have more parenthesees comments that summary and I'm still done already.... haaa. Anyways.

Hosaka and Yumi are SOOOOOO adorable! (And Yumi is shmexyness.) No not let the cover fool you, my yaoi friends! This one is good stuff. Hawt sex... somthing of... not a plot per-say... but a reason for being...? (same diff! xD) So... oh, it's just really good! I've already re-read it and I just finished it for the first time yesterday. So cute~ Also, maybe It's just me, but I got confused again -.- Learn names early on, both first and last, because they randomly switch the one they use. Also, two guys who look almost exactly the same date the same girl at different times and that threw me for a loop (Prolly cause I was off with the names.) When I picked this up (So to speak...) I thought it was gonna be awful. I saw in a mini review that it was refreshing because the guys were 'manly' and the cover looked just DREADFUL. In reality... whoever thinks these men are manly are... messed up. xD They may but look like girls, but that does not make them manly. Their lips are full and they have 'fwaah' hair (Yes, fwaah. It's a Jae-word, get used to them xD) they wear sweet clothes and do voice acting for BL anime. None of these qualities are 'male'. (They do wear mandals, though. uuuuugh. I HATE mandals. *shudder*)

Beware of the Rival

Beware of the Rival (Rival Ni Ki Wo Tsukero) - Manga
By - Yamakami Riyu
Explicit
!!!
Concluded Series (1 book)

This book is spilt into 4 parts. I'll go over the 4 parts individually. (And I'm trying to be general about it... not give too much, away, you know?)
1) Ren and Kunimi both love the same guy, Sakae. The first part is them fighting over him.
2) This one is about Ren and Kunimi again, developing their own feelings.
3) The next one is about Mei and Shouta. Mei is moving out on his own... there's just one problem. He's a total klutz. No matter what he does he does it wrong, basically. So his friend Shouta offers to move in with him. (I wish this one had more sex and was more conclusive... =( )
4) The last one is about Hibiki and Toshikazu. Toshikazu is very controlling and Hibiki kinda wants a little freedom... just be careful what you wish for... yeah? (In the end of this one there is a small short story that goes back to Ren and Kunimi. It's really cute.)

I only gave it four because it wasn't TOTALLY amazing and I was tired of handing out fives... X\ It was still good, though. Her (His? It's.) people have no foreheads, that's my biggest complaint. Other than that the sex was hawt and the stories were cute, though the middle story was my least favorite. Still. They were good enough to re-read... on accident... (When I'm finding pictures to put as the scans I just end up reading it again xD AHHH!) Be very attentive to names. Each story has a blonde and a black haired guy, so it CAN get a little confusing. I got a little confused with the way Manga Traders seperated the chapters, so if you're using MT be smart and don't get confused like me. xD

Concluded Series

Wild Fish is about a merman prince and a /human/ falling in love. Ayase drowns in the ocean and Prince Kagetsu sees him and falls in love. For him, Kagetsu travels on-land and swears he won't come back until Ayase comes with him.

Very cute. Ayase and Kagetsu are an adorable couple, but I found myself in favor of Sakuya x Toba! (How cute!) I don't really have much to say about it besides read it. The ending is very open with a fun little twist that suits the light-hearted nature of the manga well. It has a very happy tone without any serious conflict or sadness anywhere, just random funniness.

Favorite Part: Lovey Dovey time is epic, but I think my favorite part is when Kagetsu calls Sakuya and asks him how humans have sex. xD Too funny. You should read it if just for that part. (Ears and nose? xD )

Explicit Yaoi, no parts showing (Just kinda, whited out, you know?) xD

Concluded Series (Very Short)

Ai No DNA is about Miharu and Natsu, two brothers. All his life Miharu has had these random pains and he finds out they come from his astrological twin, and brother, Natsu who had moved away when they were young (or something like that). Their parents decide to get back together and so they meet up again and fall in love.

It's not much of a discription, but it's a really cute book. I really loved this book the art is good and the sex is adorable. ^^ Their thoughts and actions are human, blah blah. It's really cute, just read it, okay? I give it tons of credit for it's conflict(s). The problems that the brothers come across are the problems that are VERY easily and VERY often overdone. I commend this book for not doing that, yay! It seems a little odd, incest and all, but it's really cute. It isn't like they were raised as brothers and it isn't like they can have kids, so, personally, I'm totally cool with whatever. This book also seems a little shota, but while Natsu looks really young they're both in high school together... again, whatever.

(You can read it online here, I don't know how the translation is...)
(You can download it onto your computer here. Two things: It saves as a RAM file and you have to sign up to use the site... but you can read the manga whenever. Personally... totally worth it! )

Earthian

Photobucket
Earthian - Manga (AKA: The good Earthian)
By - Yun Kouga
Shonen-Ai/Soft Yaoi
PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Concluded Series

Earthian is a story about angels that live on a planet, Eden. The main characters are angels and they are on a mission to see if they should destroy the Earth. One, Chihaya, is counting reasons they shouldn't and the other, Kagetsuya, is counting reasons they should. Throughout this process they fall in love, against the law on Eden that prohibits homosexuality in any form. On the side the manga explores the relationships of their friends.

Oh my god. So cute! Earthian lacks a conclusive ending, but that's about it. Chihaya and Kagetsuya's relationship is played out well, without overdramatizing it. My personal favorite characters are Raphael and Archangel Michael! They are soooooo cute! Somebody should force the to screw eachother, HARD. I'd so love to see that. ^^ Kyaaaaa!

Found at Jae's Local Library... SORRY! And I really wanted you to read it, too~ ;-; I found it here:
But there's only one book out of four! I checked all of my sites and none of them had it! (Besides this.) If anyone gets ahold of an online copy please let me know!

Earthian - Anime (NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH "Earthian - Manga" !! COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!)
By - Yun Kouga
Shonen-Ai/ Soft Yaoi
-----

Here is where I would put the summary... but I really don't know what the hell that was supposed to be about, so I'm leaving it blank. Well, I do know one thing. The main characters are angels and they are on a mission to see if they should destroy the Earth. One, Chihaya, is counting reasons they shouldn't and the other, Kagetsuya, is counting reasons they should. Throughout this process the fall in love. (Though that isn't shown in the anime.) The main point in the anime is "Messiah", who is all emo and crappy anyways.

Awful. Do not watch. Truly. I read the books first, and I didn't even know what was going on... why? BECAUSE IT WAS NOTHING LIKE THE BOOK! I can't even tell you what the anime is about... It didn't make sense. There are the two main characters, Kagetsuya and Chihaya, who have an undeveloped unexplained relationship. Few other consistent characters who usually make their first appearances expecting you to know everything about them, and even if you did know everything about them they aren't anything like the other them you know everything about (from the books) and so it STILL makes no sense. The plotline is jagged and has no explanation. Honestly, that's it's biggest flaw. I don't care if you do something else with the anime than what happened in the manga, but there in no flow in the anime.
"They're here, wait, no, they're there. Wait, no, when did SHE show up... who is THAT? What the hell? What does that have to do with anything?" -Jae's internal monologue while watching.
I have dubbed the show "Aya and Friends" Because Aya, a character in the manga, has nothing to do with the plot and I'm convinced these OVA's have nothing to do with the plot either. The art isn't impressive as well, again, when compared with the manga is actually much worse. Dumb show, dumb ending. Only one crappy not-even-sex scene. Not worth it. BLARGH THIS IS CRAP.

Episode 3 (Oh My god, in the beginning of this episode there are all the really important characters from the manga! And they don't even get any lines! Yes!)

Ai No Kusabi

Very Explicit, no parts showing.

Ai No Kusabi is a tale of the troubles between two people from the polar ends of society. Isaon, an elite 'Blondie' and Riki, a black haired guy from the slums. Iason is the highest standing living being on their planet, which is controlled by a somewhat-sentiant computer named Jupiter. Riki is some nobody who causes trouble. Iason saves Riki's life and Riki is determined to no be indebted to him, thus agreeing to become Iason's pet. The anime goes though those times and shows their relationship growing, (A la steamy sex scenes) even when set by boundries of owner and pet. (Even better?)

A traditional star-crossed lovers anime. Apparently, the manga goes into much more depth on their social ranks and those effects, as well as their government. I haven't read the manga, and I did just fine. I will tell you right now, the ending is sad, but well worth it. I will not hand out spoilers openly, but if you are like me, you'll wanna know how it ends, so feel free to ask. I really really loved this anime, it was one of the first yaoi things I'd ever seen. Iason and Riki are just the cutest couple, I definately reccomend that you watch this!
